tendon was a tad sore this morning when i woke up but decided to run a couple miles to see if it is better yet. biked back to my house as a warm up and started my run using my old shoes. legs were tired from the biking in the past couple days, but absolutely no tendonitis pain!!! i was so nervous the whole time expecting it to give out on me at some point, but i made it the whole way without any problems! my first mile was 6:44 or so and it felt easy. kept it fast for the second mile at 6:37 to test my legs out and they still felt great at that pace. i have to be smart about this now and slowly ramp back up to 80 miles a week, but i'll be taking it easy until fish day and hopefully i'll be healthy enough to race it.
