With Steevee Hyland. Kept it short because my mileage allowed me a shorter day this week. Shin wasn't too bad, but it was noticeable. Today we also decided on this year's slogan:

JHU XC 2011: Runnin' through these hoes like Drano

This will likely never get adopted as any kind of slogan, but will provide us with much glee anytime we hear "Party Rock".

Regarding Mr. Yen's comments about the lockout on Thursday, I feel it prudent to inform everyone of the recent news:

Following tense minutes of negotation between the league and its players, the Fantasy Freshmen League and Commissioner Hahn (as well as Assistant Commissioner Sihelnik) have determined that the best course of action at the present time is to lock the players out. Unfortunately, the FFL and the FFPA are at an impasse due to "creative differences". The FFPA is floating such ludicrous proposals as "paying the players", including performance-based bonuses, shortening the season to March-May, and adding higher signing bonuses for the earlier draft picks. At the negotiating table, FFPA president Steve "Bitch" Hyland uttered a series of incomprehensible sentences, but the league was not swayed by his rhetoric. An inside source close to Commissioner Hahn reported that he and the league intend to wait until the players break, which they believe will be around the time they officially become sophomores and are no longer eligible to participate in the league.
