On the indoor track, but it wasn't much relief from the heat. It was a shaded 85 instead of a sunny 90. Definitely didn't have the strongest Yasso 800 workout, but it was a terrific mental test. Started out doing bad math and my first 2 were well over pace (goal pace 2:40). Figured out the pace/lap and stayed under pace from interval 3 on. Was struggling by number 4 or 5, but I didn't let myself quit. I just kept clipping off 40s or lower and didn't let myself have 2nd thoughts about it. Fairly proud of this workout b/c I think back to all of the workouts while at Case where I let myself fall off of a group I belonged in or ahead of. I'm sick of talking myself out of running fast. That workout hurt, but it still would have hurt if I would have slowed down for the last 5 intervals. The difference is that when I stuck it out, I was hurting but satisfied; that's is infinitely better than hurting and pissed.
