*Day 3 of 4 of the Four Days, Four Cities Tour*

From my friend's apartment with my high school friend/teammate/bro Dave Adley. Nice to catch up with him as I haven't seen him since December. A pleasant run through several parks in Richmond. We hopped some fences and toured the zoo at one point, though I didn't see a single animal, oddly enough. Shins felt pretty nice, and definitely nothing like they did earlier in the week.

The real excitement of the day was going to King's Dominion/Richmond (and experiencing the Richmond nightlife). A few highlights:
-We managed to ride 6 roller coasters in the first hour, breaking my Cedar Point record of 5 in 2 hours
-Two of friends teamed up in bumper cars to essentially kill a 13 year-old girl whose car was stuck by slamming into her car in near-instant succession right as it ended, then watching them laugh wickedly about it as she was stuck there
-About 20 seconds after the power in the bumper cars was shut off, I was able to keep my car's momentum going, and as my brother was climbing out of his car I hit his car from behind (he never saw it coming) and caused to nearly tumble out of the car
-While in line at the bumper cars, watching a guy in an Isiah Thomas jersey cruise around and not hit a single person. Afterward, when we told him that we liked his driving, he responded by saying, "Man, I was just tryna get a breeze." (A fair argument considering the heat)
-I had never experienced more stationary sweating than I did while waiting in line for the Shock Wave. I was afraid to make any sudden movements because I would have flung sweat on people nearby
-Waited in line for the Volcano for an hour, only for it be shut down when we were 2 cars from the front of the line. As soon as we left (after another 30 minutes) it opened back up and we were part of a mad dash of people running back to the line.
-Following this, we got in line for the Intimidator 305. One of my friends kept talking trash about Dale Earnhardt (the theme of this coaster) and saying things like, "Just think of what Dale Earnhardt would have accomplished if Sterling Marlin hadn't killed him on the last lap of the Daytona 500." Sure enough, when we were next in line to ride, the park got shut down due to impending bad weather. We decided it was karma for bringing up Sterling Marlin while in line at the Dale Earnhardt ride.
-Along with everyone else, wandering the park like dazed flood victims after all the rides got shut down
-Listening to my brother lecture our friend and me on the proper way to hold the Whac-a-Mole mallet, only for him to lose every game to us
-On the Hurler, the guy a few rows in front of us took off his shirt and twirled it around for the whole ride. Unfortunately, it was soaked in sweat and I spent most of the ride dodging errant sweat bullets. I'm pretty sure he took his shirt off so it would dry out but he wanted to make it look like he was just having a fun time.
-I learned that one of the track houses at Allegheny College is known as "The Petting Zoo" because apparently a bunch of child molesters used to live there (I didn't ask any more questions)
-Another house at Allegheny is called "The Glory Hole" which is pretty hilarious in my opinion
-At William & Mary one of the track houses is known as "The G-Spot"
-Watching the "Old Greg" youtube video. It's one of those videos that gets better every time you see it.
-Getting shunned at 2 hipster bars in Richmond. We didn't have any tattoos so we had a hard time getting served. Also we didn't order PBR
-The bathroom at one of these places was the second-worst I have ever seen, behind only the bathroom at the Butler High School track (I'm being serious when I say I think they filmed the first Saw movie in that bathroom)

A really fun day despite being at the park in 100+ degree heat. Had a fond time recalling our high school days.
