Trail run

Ran some trail loops that I found last year. I've forgotten how nice it feels to run on moss (some of it). I lengthened my stride from yesterday to more of a normal one for me, and my speed increased as expected. I probably could have done this run in 21 minutes or so, but I kayaked 2 miles earlier today so my arms felt jellied and useless. I tried hard on the first loop, and then tried to make the second loop around the same length of time. This was probably one of my most successful pacing jobs ever. There was a temporary moment of freaking out near the end of the first loop because I had forgotten that the loops were in fact 1.6 miles, not 1. This is now the fastest run of the summer, but I'm going to stop writing that.
Edit: It's not the best pacing I've ever done. I was looking at last year and apparently I ran two loops with 2 seconds difference. Slower than this though.
