Comments:
Got up early to run downtow, so glad I did, fab views and great run. Did 2 mile tempo after warm up, was definitely working hard but able to keep up the effort and for once ran 2nd mile faster! Mile 2 @ 8:01 and mile 3 @ 7:55. Had thought I would focus on 8:30 ish pace but surprised at first mile so kept it up. Cooldown felt pretty fatigued and sore (quads tender from new lifting) but able to run slow for 1.75 miles. Great run, loads of walkers and runners out.
