Exercise Type: Run

Sudeck Invite. CoachL had us shorten our warmup a bit because of the heat. Drills, where Alyssa twisted her ankle :( Coach told us to take it out conservatively and then really start racing when we got to the top of the back hill section. Stayed kind of back at the beginning, and then started picking people off. Felt strong the whole time, never really felt like I died. I also don't think I got passed after the mile, once everyone was settled, which was cool. Time is definitely slower than last year, but I'm not too worried. Actually not at all, because it was hot, and everyone was slower. Overall happy with it, but I also know there's room for improvement. Which is good because it's only the first meet. Oh also my ankle felt really good. Jess did a superstar wrapping job. Kind of sore afterwards, but didn't feel it during. I got a racing stripe.
