Comments:
Unfamiliar workout, which was kind of nice to get out of the standard every year ones. 1st 2 mile at tempo pace (target 11:00), in 2nd 2 mile, 1st mile was tempo, 2nd mile we were supposed to pick it up to around race pace. 1st 2 mile was 10:53 (5:20, 5:33) 2nd 2 mile was 10:13 (5:20, 4:53). Last mile of 2nd one felt great, just kind of extended my legs and my stride without straining my breathing at all. Just felt really strong in general.
