Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Good:
- Started out with the pack and maintained for the first two miles
- Picked off a decent amount of guys throughout the race
- Started out well, got in good placement
Bad:
- Slowed down the last mile
- Could have surged on the straightaways more than I seemed to do
- Weak finishing kick
Team:
- Everyone seemed to step just out of their projected race splits and maintain them, which ended up paying off in the end
- Both guys and girls teams ran smart races in terms of pack running
Coaches:
- I've been really happy with the way the coaches have handled both meets and practices. At this point, the rest of the season relies on how I handle my races mentally.
