slept through the am tempo which proved to be a good thing because i got some much needed sleep and a lot of work done in the morning. anyway, had class all day so i had to do something in the evening. ran down to the indoor track because of the wind and rain and of course it was locked so headed back up to the bike path at the rr station. wanted to do something shorter (to save my foot) and quicker (why not). started towards apple, turned around, to the business park, & back to the 1.5. everything went really well until coming out of the business park, the last 1/2mi, in the open when the wind hit me hard. I wasnt tying, or even that tired, just didnt want to strain just to keep time for the last 1/2mi. decided to wear the fastwitches to see what happened and my foot actually held up nicely; only felt it the last mile at times. solid workout: temperature was awesome, foot held up in lightweights, faster than i though it would be.
Splits: 5:16, 5:15, 5:20.
