Comments:
a ton of good performances, i was particularly impressed with freshmen breaking 20 on their first race. mile mark in 5:17 (fast, but partly due to the nature of the course, it had a really easy first mile in comparison to the others). gotta love a 35 second PR, but man did i feel terrible. i was doubting myself every minute, form was bad, my knees kept hitting each other, I wasn't efficient, my upper body felt stiff and weak (need to do some weight work). I also died after "THE hill", was basically jogging for a little after that. the race also completely wrecked me, i was staggering and couldn't see straight for a while after, still kind of dazed now, 5 hours later. worth it for breaking 18, but i don't want races to feel like that, i run because i enjoy it after all
