Comments:
We were supposed to run it as a workout, where the first mile is conservative and the second and third are each faster than the last. It was really hard to do, and the first mile mark was off so I'm not sure what I was running. I do know my 2-mile was 13:47 (much better than the 15:07 or whatever on Saturday), which means that my last mile was around 7:30. I still feel like I'm going to continue speeding up since my legs don't feel as tired as they should, although today was definitely an improvement over Oatlands. I ran 1:54 faster. Part of the reason I slowed down in the last mile was because my left calf tightened up.
