ran first 2 out northpark with DICKson, WILLYams, and DONG, jokes aside though my knee is not doing too good. I am hoping it is all in my head, but it is kind of sore just walking to class and stuff. now whether this is part of the healing process or it is getting injured again is unknown. I just know that I thought I was going to get alot more out of this season than I am going to. Coach Lanese told me yesterday that all-ohio is "out of the question" and she does not think racing oberlin would yeild much benefit for me. I know that alot of people including coach lanese misled me as to how much I could progress from injury and return quickly. In a way it means alot because people wanted me around running and working out that they sort of misled me to think I could do more than i am able to this season. by oberlin i will have a best case scenario of running one week of 26 miles, one week of 32 miles and racing oberlin while doing a week of 35 miles, I feel like it is unlikley that I will even race, coach has to give approval, and then i have to get cleared by mivkosky to race, my goal is still to race. I know that all of my training has got me here, i have to take the positives of my running over the summer(getting in shape) with the negatives(getting injured) and I am here where I am today because of my training and my actions, no excuses no regrets(excpet not drinking more milk, taking calcium supplements lol), but the goal is still to race, not just for me but for all of the people who were so supportive of me and got my ass out this season and not letting me retire, im trying to race this not only for myself but for all of you guys....hoping and praying that my knee will hold together
