Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
ran on a section of grass parallel to north park but on the other side on fairhill. 5x mile repeats. it was raining most of the day, so the ground was wet, but not terrible. there were some muddy sections, particularly at the halfway turnaround that were slippery and difficult to navigate-- i almost slipped on the fourth one-- but overall it was a good workout. the effort felt good, i wore drew's flats again-- i think i want to get some of my own; they'd definitely be useful.
ran with chris, chris, and ethan. 2mi warmup to the start, drills, then got our goal times/groups. we were shooting for 5:15-5:20, or just under race pace. splits were 5:24, 5:14, 5:17, 5:14, 5:12. i was happy to go negative for the last one, and it was a good effort throughout. 2.5mi cooldown up along the repeat course and down north park.
