Instead of practice, I cross trained by water jogging at Wilson. Knees started hurting walking with my heavy backpack up that hill on River, and being paranoid becuase I'm running tommorrow, i stopped and went and caught the 32 bus literally to go about 2 minutes just up to the tenleytown station and went to wilson.

I had never been to the Wilson pool before, and its actually a really great facility. Did a total of 30 minutes of aquajogging and like 3 laps of swimming. It was 2 sets of 15 minutes; the first with a 6 minute warm up then 5 minute long pick ups with 1 minute recoveries (the last pick up not having a recovery). The second set was the same but with the 6 minutes in the end as a cool down. In between I just stretched for 2 minutes.

Each and everytime I am still surprised at how difficult aquajogging is. It felt good to actually be panting for breath though, I haven't been able to do that running for some time.
