Comments:
Ugh, I felt horrendous. The toe was painful and the shin splints was especially bad after yesterday's hard workout. I took the warmup slow since I had no choice with the shin pain, then we did 10 repeats of a series of hills on the fields. The pace looks slow because it includes the jog back to the start of the intervals, and overall I did fairly well, despite being very sore. The cooldown was once again terrible and I could barely finish it without walking. My body is not ready for this sudden increase in mileage—in three days I've run as much as I ran in 6 days two weeks ago—so hopefully I'll get to take the next two days very easy.
