Looking at my running-logs recently, I have realized how much less mileage I'm getting this season than I did last, or when I ran on my own in the winter. It worries me, but I know If i tried to do anymore, my knees would only get worse.
2.8 miles used to be one of the shortest runs I'd take. LIke a 5 mile run was the steady average or even a recovery.....grrrrr.
Anyways I was told to run to the Top of BK and back, but between the pace of the team/being sick of running that same thing all the time/needing to talk to ariana, we split from the group and did an abbreviated 4 mile loop, going down mass at ward circle to 47th street to chesapeake back up to school. Pace was actually decently fast, but not a tempo. My knees were hurting, but I guess thats to be expected. Was starting to feel some shin pain, which I don't usually get at all. This BETTER be a one day thing.
