Took yesterday off and I'm really glad I did. Felt awesome on this evening run. Just rolled. I like where I'm at right now.

Typically, this weekend was always the turning point of my XC seasons. Freshmen year its where I PRed, but still missed going to conference. Sophomore year, it was when I set a massive PR (26:28) but that still wouldn't crack our top 10. Despite that, I realized my potential. Junior year, it was my last completed race before I found out I had a stress fracture, a 26:47 in muddy conditions at Oberlin on a fractured tibia. Last year, it was when I decided to get my shit straight, put in the work, never quit, and have some fun.

Tonight, I really enjoyed the run, and that's why I'm still doing this. Why quit? Why get fat? Why not see how good I can get? I'm in this for the long haul, its way too much fun to stop.
