Inside mile repeats

Weather: 35, cold, windy

Comments:
Stayed inside due to cold & darkness. Wanted to do tempo outside but switched to mile repeats inside. Warm up felt good, relaxed, hopped off and stretched before first mile. Felt okay first minute but quickly felt fatigued and over my head at race 7:30 pace, by last minute lower shins were burning and breathing labored. Walked for 2 mintues and hopped off to stretch. Harder than I thought! Did one more at same pace which was a tad easier but still hard, did cool down mile.
