Got in a solid 5 miles when I woke up this morning. Felt decent, stomach full of turkey and potatoes from the night before. Legs are feeling good. A little sore from the core routine I have been doing the last couple of days. Definitely need it though, have to become a little more stronger in more core so when it comes to the end of races I can maintain good form and kick it in! Thats all for the day. I am definitely ready to head back to campus and run with the team. It has felt like a long time.
Also, my ankle is still swollen, I could feel it on the run today where as I did not feel it at all on Thursday. Need to take care of that now so it's not a problem in the future. ICE!
