Laze all morning to run in the afternoon

Woke up feeling great but after half of an old lox bagel my stomach was sitting right. Lazed about till about 12 and said to hell with it, I'll tough it out. Felt stiff and I'm going for mileage so I decided to take it slow. It started snowing which really helped and about a mile in my stomach settled. I kept it slow and didn't rush through lights like I normally do. Going up the big hill on grosvenor lane, I got this slight painful tinge in my knee. I don't know what that means but it seemed to go away after the hill. My hip is playing up a bit but not too noticeably when I'm running. I could be putting a bit more time into stretching so I think I'll do that. The slow and steady really helped with my stomach and didn't seem to limit my distance. No diarrhea which is good. I'll see what happens when I start picking up the pace.
