don't stop me now because i'm having a good time ... ok the actual title of this entry should be emma's loop

January 11, 2012 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: wayyy colder than the perfect weather we had yesterday. low 40s i guess?

Comments:
don't stop me now because i'm having a good time:
never felt nerdier. waiting for emma at school. its before 8am and i'm the only one here. literally. reading a high fantasy book and listening to queen. (but i do feel less nerdy knowing that until yesterday i didnt kno what qualified as high fantasy. actually scratch that. it just makes me feel oblivious).

emma's loop:
emma had a flat tire. she finally got there at 8:30ish i think. her loop was like...well i don't know the street names...but u end up going behind sidwell and then back behind those nice quiet neighborhoods...and the we looped back up (hadn't ever gone nearly that far down before). pretty hill run. had these really nice houses at the end of the street tho that made it all worth it. they were like these italian villas on top of the hill, and the sky was blue, and i dunno, it just made me happy. (yes, i realize how strange that sounds). there was like a block of these houses. and then further down, other cute houses. and like some big flats with a square courtyard in the center and little organized shrubs for the garden - i mean does it get any more italian? (anything italy justmakes me happy. italian food. italian designers. italian renaissance. italian sculpture. italian architecture. ...)
it seems to take so long to run half an hour. these runs used to seem so short - what happened!
grabbed breakfast afterward.
then french studying :/ it was nice to be distracted by people periodically tho (stayed at school till 6).
