awesome run. it was raining real hard all morning so the forest was a total mud bath. i got really excited and decided to let it loose. ran to oakton and back by myself. this was way under my goal training pace, and i was never really comfortable at it, but i think it wouldve been a little faster without the mud though. also, i almost ate it real bad a couple of times, which couldve sucked. finally ran with a watch, and mile splits (i think? the mile marker may have been a bit off) were 5:50, 6:10, 6:13, 5:25. it felt good to go fast though, and i felt like a badass since i was the only one in the forest and came home covered in mud.
