Long Run

Weather: 25 degrees, sunny

Comments:
Today was an "M" (marathon) pace long run. 1 mile warm-up, 8 miles M pace and 1 mile cool-down. A had a number of sections where I was running on snow pack, but it felt great to be outside and the sun was shining which warmed everything up. I'm very pleased with my splits today - also proud of the fact that I completed the run, I really had to gut it out for the last couple of miles. Splits - 8:09, 7:01, 6:59, 6:52, 7:02, 7:01, 6:49, 6:51, 7:06, 8:32. This run was sort of an early indicator for how many training is going and couldn't be more pleased with the result. So far, so good.
