Pretty content to see that I'm regaining form after the year of injury. Usual lack of warm-up, but did manage five minutes of drills and strides which helped a lot. Pleased with my even splits. (41.70 avg 200m lap) 39.3,41.0, 42.3, 43.0, 42.1, 42.2, 42.4, 42.9, 43.3, 42.8, 42.6, 41.9, 43.0, 41.6, 36.0 for a total of 10:25.6... would have been about 11:07 or 11:08 for 3200m. by 400s, it was, 1:20, 2:45, 4:09, 5:34, 7:00, 8:25, 9:49, (11:08).
I guess, it shows that I really was running it as a time trial/fitness test since I was controlled enough to keep it even. Worked my way around a young kid and Zeke Cohen during the first half mile, but then just ran alone lapping and passing for the rest of the race. Caught up to a young kid on my lap in the final 200m and passed him, but he rallied and beat me in the final 50.
Left knee hurt throughout, but wasn't my focus. Generally very pleased and plenty winded afterwards. The meet went well for GDS and the cheering from the hoppers was very appreciated. Briefest of cooldowns
