Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
so I took a nap after class instead of heading out on this tempo as I intended... I've been so tired lately and I was worried that this would be a bomb. It wasn't though! It wasn't incredible pace-wise or anything like that. It's just that it was fun. It was smooth and I felt strong and powerful.
Sometimes you go on a run that reminds you why you do this. Why the time, why the effort, why the fight. You are reminded that you CAN run, that you ARE a runner. That running lets you live. It's why you fight. It makes you super.
Went out to the Taff Trail, a paved bike trail that I took out to the mountains North of the city before. It runs alongside the river most of the way. Went 2.5 out (barely uphill) in 17:10 and a bit faster on the way back. It really felt good. :)
