Long, Hard Workout

Wasn't sure how today was gonna go. Ty and I were feeling some serious lactic acid buildup before the workout started. The workout today was a 60 minute progression run, building up from easy pace to tempo. We ran Saucon Valley High School plus Reading Road, and I went straight to the front. The entire team was together until about 35 minutes in, at which time we were already going tempo pace but we hit a hill and Evans, Ty, and I took off. We dropped everybody by a huge margin, and kept going. I felt so good keeping up with Evans, especially because our pace was so quick. When it was all said and done, Flach mapped it out and told us we had covered 10.5 miles, giving him about 5:40 pace AVERAGE. We were 10.6 at least, so we were even faster than that, average pace for a run that was over 7 minute pace for at least the first ten minutes. I am rounding into incredible shape.
