Comments:
After looking forward to this all season, I really let myself down in the last month or two, I got to the race overweight, and a bit tired because I didn't want to lift from training because I was overweight and wouldn't be good anyway. Just stupid. I ran very fast up the first hill, as planned but then felt rubbish for the next mile or so as hundreds of people went past me as if I was walking. At least I recovered a bit in the last half and felt stronger at times.

I had some really good days at the start of the season, and I won the club points championship anyway, and also the vets award in the Sunday league, so the season wasn't a complete washout.
