Comments:
running 60 miles this week, or at least that is the current plan. the way I mapped it though, I'll still get saturday off (going up to northern wales into the mountains for "adventure weekend" with IFSA-Butler) and this will be the only day I have to run twice.

went up through Roath Park and past Cardiff High School. ran on the muddy trails in the woods there for a few minutes and then turned around and ran home.

got a late start because I slept in till about 11. had one of those superfun 24-hour days yesterday, because I went on a day trip around England with IFSA-Butler. This time it was Oxford and Blenheim Palace (where Winston Churchill was born). I really liked learning about the historically significant family that has lived there for hundreds of years. It was a really lovely day; both locations were gorgeous! Kind of tired now, but need to grocery shop and do a bit of cleaning (or SOMETHING productive) before I go run again... sigh. I don't know how you guys do this all the time. I'm all showered and fed and I'd like to be done for the day! 2adays suck.

ALSO, amidst all the stupid, scary birds at Roath Park, I passed a duck today with ONE LEG!!! I thought maybe she just had the other one tucked up under her or something, but no, I saw the stump. it was super gross. let's just say that she didn't lose it cleanly. that was no smooth table saw cut. I ran away from her sputtering angrily like I always do at the birds. creepy creepy things.
