Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
At this point I'm pretty tired of talking about this injury. Over the last week I've focused on stretching, foam rolling and strengthening and for the past 3 or 4 days I've had zero pain. I saw a physical therapist on Tuesday and he couldn't find anything structurally wrong with my knee which pretty much confirms the ITBS diagnosis. I was pain free through the first 6 or 7 tenths of a mile today only for the pain to start all over again. I ended up walking for a good portion of the run today - you know, one of those Charlie Brown "walk of shame" type walks. I now believe I have every PT tool known to man - foam-roll, patt-strap, the stick, shoe orthotics...nothing seems to be working.
