Spicy Negative Split Run

Completing yet another 16 mile day, we decided to spice it up today during our negative split run on the canal. We had a big group going out but on the way back it was Sam, Ty, Evans, Simon, and I hammering. We hit the first mile in 5:00 and the second in 4:50. We proceeded to hit the third mile in 4:53, and kept rolling. 5k came in 15:17, and we knew we were rolling. Ty and Sam had to stop there because they are racing Saturday, but Evans, Simon and I kept on rolling. We went out the other way on the rail trail and onto a new trail before turning around 2 and a half minutes in. The way back felt really short. We killed that workout. Utterly destroyed it. I played with Miles afterwards and did some steeple jumps into the sand pit. Makes me feel good being the last one to leave the track.
