Exercise Type: Run
Weather: Dark and slightly windy but cool.
Comments:
Just a steady but easy 6km run. Tried running more on my mid-forefoot rather than heel-striking like I quite oftenly do. Definitely less impact on the knees and I wasn't overpronating. It is kinda hard work and weird at first, puts a bit more pressure on the calves but it is a more efficient way of running that will reduce injuries and improve my running form. I'm going to try run like this always from now on and i'll hopefully adjust to it and it will become more natural.
I did 6 x 100m strides at the end, relaxed but fast, start the next one when after I have caught my breath. Felt good.
I don't overly very sore/tired after the hill session yesterday and the circuits in the afternoon which is good and shows I can do hard work and recover quickly.
