Comments:
Did a 2km jog to the course.
Was not a serious race, just a fun handicap club race where people started and different times. Also had 12 up and over hills (stopbank) in the course that were pretty big and slowed me down a bit as they were hard going up and down. Could have probably gone a bit harder but it would have been a doable pace for 6km. Wasn't really running against people either which made a difference, no one to push me.
