UNC Charlotte Day 2

Weather: 60, sunny, still

Comments:
Perfect running conditions. I was really hating before the races, I was dead from the 5k and did not really want to get going. Warmed up 2 miles for the 800 on some really nice trails I found with Jim. Stretched, strides etc. 10 guys in my heat, I was the last seed on the line. Got out in 28.x in about 6th, came through 400 in 58, passed some guys on the back straight and hit 600 in 1:28.x where I was boxed. got stuck for awhile but once I was loose I ran the last two guys down to win my heat. 2:00.16, wanted to run a little faster, but I'll take it after a 1+ minute pr in the 5k. For the 4x400, I jogged 5 minutes, did strides, and flirted with a girl from John Carroll to warm up. Wound up having to anchor and split 53.7, not bad for how tired I was. Know I can go 52 soon.

On a side note, I need to recover this weekend, we basically ate junk food for 72 hours and I didn't sleep that well.
