Comments:
I went out at 78s, but fell off and tightened up pretty badly. My stride went to pieces. Robert passed me with about two miles to go and I nearly broke. However, something inside of me decided to pull myself togther and race the last two laps. I went from running 83s to a 77 to a 70 for probably the most dramatic kick I've ever had. The race as a whole was not quite as good as I'd hoped, though the time still was not bad. The way I finished was the notable thing for me.
Short version for non 10k runners: I tightened up, but still ran a 70 last lap.
