end of high mileage philosophy

no more ultra-high miles anymore. easy 4 today easy 4 tomorrow 8 saturday to hit 60. then still 60 every week. 60 60 60 60 60 60 etc. What I will increase and work on is the Sunday long run. Plan is upto 15 miles. with Wednesday supplementary long run which will work up to 12 miles. Both quality pace. One planned chill day with striders which is Monday and one leg speed day Saturday: 200's in the morning and tempo in the afternoon or something like that.

I got too ahead of myself with the miles and the resulting fatigue hurt my quality which isn't acceptable. This way, there is more quality while there is still a big emphasis on strength and there is more fast running involved with the less miles/more chance to recover.
