Mile Repeats

Inside at the RPAC today so I could pace a workout correctly. The plan was 4xmile w/ 3 minutes rest in between each mile. So about half recovery. Wanted to start just under 6min/mile and decrease by 5 seconds each interval.

I hit the plan almost exactly. The mile splits were 5:55, 5:50, 5:45, 5:18. The first 3 were on the treadmill and the last on the indoor track. That is why the last one ended up being so fast. I had trouble near the beginning of the 4th interval of slowing the pace.

I am pumped about this workout. I was barely tired after the first 3, and I definitely didn't go all out on the 4th. Still need to remember that 3 minutes rest is a lot so I am not back to where I was. A really long way to go before I get back to that.
