Comments:
Felt ok going into the meet today. Went to the bathroom, and i know i had my spikes with me. then i set them down over by my bag and started warming up. when it startd raining all of a sudden, i went to get my bag and my spikes but my spike were gone and someone else's spikes were about the same place where mine were, so i figured someone switched with mine. I used noahs spike in the 4x800 which idnt feel great but thats just cause im not a big fan of distance spikes, but they were much better than using trainers. I felt awful in the 4x800 and after it i was very dizzy and light headed. Basically i was on the ground for a while until the mile went and john running a 4:27 got me motivated and i got up to warmup/ cooldown. Started feeling good again, and cory said i could use his spikes. So the two mile got there and his spikes felt very light but also a bit big. Paced off of moody for the first two laps and then blocked my mind and kept smooth for the rest of the race, trying to focus on nothing except stride rate and keeping my face and form smooth and easy. Felt good and hit a nice pr of 9:27. ..I got on the bus and tim foun my spikes on there, but i swear i did take them off the bus! good day though. Not sure of the results
