Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
As I ran my one man cross country race, the first couple miles are quiet, but around mile three I started to see the spectators. First were the sheep. They sat around the concession stand quietly watching me run by. Next I ran through the tunnel of dogs. There were about five on each side and they are much more into the race. They shouted things at me like, "GO, TAYLOR! GO!" or "I KNOW YOU CAN RUN FASTER!!" When I ran by the cows, they actually ran right alongside me until they were stopped by the fence. On the way back through, all of the animals continue to cheer me on. The cows even ran straight to the barn to remind me that I was over halfway to the finish line... I even ended up getting first place! The spectators are what make racing worth it.
