Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
ran with wyatt before going in to work. i told him last week that i'd do this tempo thing with him. after yesterday i wasn't too keen on doing it, but i decided i'd see how i felt and then probably just do it. so we ran down to mlk with the plan of going out 2 miles at 5:50-6 pace, then running back home easy. we did that, but it was a lot harder on the way back than it shouldve been. hit our splits pretty evenly, and i didn't feel like i was working hard cardiovascularly, but any faster would've been really hard on my legs. i'm just feeling really fatigued. after the tempo section, i felt really tired, and so we ran back at 8minute pace -ish. saw mercer on the way back and ran with him for a bit. it was a slog. not only was it hot and humid again, but i felt weak. felt like i barely made it back to the house. i'm hoping that since i have all today and most of tomorrow to recover that i'll be fine for tomorrow's run. and all that's left is 8.5, 8, 6, and the long run.
