Comments:
Wanted to try my luck with a 2 mile tonight on the track just to kind of gauge my fitness. Felt really good, honestly very controlled run as I went 5:58 then 5:47 and I didn't even really feel myself running out of gas until the last 200 when I started to kick. Probably could have ran 3 miles in abut 18:15 or so. I mean, don;t get me wrong it was still not a walk in the park, just wasn't race pace, more in the ball park of about 85%. And I was by myself so thats good. Felt good on the warmup but cooldown was hella slow haha. First tiome in awhile I've actually felt kinda pleased with myself.
Of note: was technically a 3200 meter track but I had to go around people a couple times all the way out into lane 3 so just calling it 2 miles.
