Comments:
Bagel and honey for break.
One Powergel 5 min before start.
A quick start, but quickly settled into a nice rhythmn at about 7/10 intensity. Lots of folks passed, but I reeled in a lot up through mile 7.
I took gels every 30min. Bombed down the hills - fun! By mile 8 it was just me and a young woman running as a bandit. I tailed her all the way to the finish. I picked it up for the last 2 miles. Felt strong. Just a little foot fatigue. Right knee showing some preliminary IT band pain, but very minor. Had Sandy do some work at end. All in all, it was pretty awesome.
