Weather: already hot, 80s and humid
Comments:
Kept pushing back the start time and didn't leave house until it was 10:00am and toasty. Dorsett to Crescent and turned back at mile marker after East/West Hwy. Looped the block at home to call it 6.5 miles. Mile pace on the trail ranged from 7:35-7:45 based upon uphill or down. Effort was consistently moderate throughout the run, and while I managed thew hole thing, it was rather depressing to be working so hard on what used to be such a bread and butter sort of affair. Knees were tolerable, but pains came and went consistently. Hills clearly aggravate them, and thinking about them clearly magnifies them. Generally speaking my motivation to work hard and push through pain is remarkably low this summer.
