Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
I've been away from running log for a while, but I want to keep a log for the whole season this time, so I'm counting this as Day 1 of the season, and hopefully I will be logging from now onwards.
Got there early-ish, plenty of time to warm up. Started out the race in a pack but pulled away shortly after so spent most of the race alone. I ran hard but feel like I could have gone a little faster if I had someone nearby. I could feel the summer running/strengthening helping me throughout. The other day I ran a mile as part of a tempo run and it was faster than my time from last track season's championships, which was good news. After finally getting over my injuries and for the first time having the ability to train all summer, I'm hoping to have a good season.
