Ok, so I didn't exactly ease up on my distance.. Planned a 3 mile run but was bored with my route and tried something new.. that something new was a bit longer... Felt pretty good though. I was extremely tight and uncomfortable in the beginning but stretched some and that helped. Still a little tight but bearable. Once I hit the 3 mile mark I forced myself to slow down and just do a steady jog (didn't want to over due it) which turned out to be good for me. I tend to be an on or off runner so forcing myself to do somewhere between those two was a fun challenge.

My achilles are a bit sore and the ball/arch of my right foot hurts so icing them. Really happy with today workout though! :)
