Comments:
Down at curley for practice tonight and Gene had us do 11 of the double hill intervals. First workout since before the surgery so I was a little nervous obviously. First one took out to fast in 44 then the next was 51 then ran mostly 47-48 for the rest with an occasional 45 or 49 (once each). Felt good for the first 6 then kinda struggled the last 5 but whatever. Heavy cut us a little short so no cooldown until about an hour or so later when I got home. Felt really good in the cool light rain at night with not too many cars out. That is, until I started chafing.
These intervals are 273 meters each so that times 11 is 3003 meters but I'll just go ahead and say a 3k. Fucked up my watch the last one so didnt get them all...I think I was at 8"30 after the 10th one. So I'll just go ahead and say that last one was in about 55 cause we did it backwards and call it a day.
