4 x 1000m tempo, 300m jog recovery
3.5 mile cool down
Decided to do a shorter version of the workout today. First we did core, then got a lecture about how this workout should only be a tempo, not hard at all. Warmed up a mile around campus then into the woods for a bit, probably ended up being about 1.5 miles. Started off the intervals bridging the gap and progressively getting faster. After doing 3, I realized that I was getting pretty exhausted and needed to cut it off at 4. Felt good overall, just need to work on being able to handle more volume with my runs and workouts. Slowly but surely. Russ told us not to keep time for the workout, so I don't know what pace I was hitting, but it wasn't too far behind some of the faster guys. 3 mile cool down with Andy felt great, got a little fast towards the end, but maybe I was just feeling tired from the workout.
