Comments:
This was interesting I suppose. I, along with everyone else, spent the entire thing in suspense of all the 2-minute segments that were surely stacked on at the end, but turned out not to be there at all. There was actually only 1 2-min interval. Compared to previous years' 3 @ 3-mins, this was relatively short, especially since coach said it would be about 30 mins and it wasn't at all, but for some reason it didn't seem easier. It seemed like a sprint fartlek. I have decided that I am not a fan of 1 minute and 1:30 intervals. You can't settle in like you can for 2's and 3's. So I didn't like that as much.
2 miles in the woods after, then a mile barefoot with Megan on the course, then another barefoot mile alone. Didn't really have time to stretch out well after because everyone else was ready to leave, which I was kind of upset about, because my legs are really tensing up already and that really didn't help at all. Really really tired after today. A good night's sleep should help that I hope.
