The Long Run (Day 5 Morning)

Comments:
Ran with the Yorks for 25 minutes out and back for the Friday morning long run this year. I had run for just as long a few times while training over the summer and had pent up excitement from not doing the workout, so it felt decently easy. We picked up the pace on the way back, and finished with a negative split. I really wanted to go for much longer, but I realize there will be more long runs in the season. For now I'm just glad to be getting in good shape and to have made it through the summer and Makemie without any knee pain whatsoever.
