Run for the Pie!!!

Comments:
Today was a really fun race. also embarrassing and muddy.

1st lap. Felt good and kind of like that questioning stage where you're like can i do this?

2nd lap. Felt good. I started wondering why i felt good and felt like we should not be feeling this good and started pushing the pace which pulled me and emily? away from the pack. I felt fine but i fell and emily pulled away from me

3rd lap. I think I almost caught her on the downhill of the 3rd lap. I fell again and lost interest. I was 20 ish meters behind her.

I had a ton of fun on the race. It was definently was not a really action packed race. i showed up, ran, got pie, left. I really just wanted to see how i fared in a race situation and it turned out pretty well. I hope the competitive fire grabs me during other races.
